Upcoming Changes in Gate Policy

November 2016 Update:

Despite the letters that went out to property owners giving instructions on the new vendor code policy, it appears there are vendors who have not yet been granted access codes. Property owners should go to the Hidden Harbor website:

http://www.hiddenharborcommunity.com/contact On the first paragraph of the contact page there is a link so you can download the form that needs to be completed and sent to Leland Management.

Once your vendors are assigned codes they will be able to gain entry from 7am-7pm Monday-Saturday. Please take care of this at your earliest convenience. The Board members do not have access codes to the gate so cannot let vendors in for you.

Thanks!

Good evening.

As most of you may know by now, last month we had not one but two break-ins on the same night. The suspects entered using a gate code and we have traced the ownership of the codes. In auditing the gate records it has become clear that some codes are being used excessively, much more than for the purpose they are intended, which is to allow your vendors and service providers entry.

Because we keep running into this issue time and again, we have decided to institute a change in policy. Letters ill be going out to all property owners within the next week. Essentially we are going to go to a vendor only code system. All vendors will be required to register their companies and the residents they serve to obtain an access entry code. These codes will be active between the hours of 7 am until 7pm Monday - Saturday.

Property owners will still be able to use their existing remotes and key cards. Should you need extra cards, you can obtain them through our management company. Contact information is on the Contact page of our website. (www.myhiddenharbor.com).

If you are in need of a temporary code, you will need to contact Leland (again contact info is on the website). Temporary codes are just that - temporary. They can be obtained for an event you are holding, or for a short time if you are having renovations done and need a few weeks of access for contractors.
