KUA will be in our community this week, replacing cables in an effort to be proactive and prevent future outages. A representative from KAU will be placing a notice on your door the DAY BEFORE your home will be affected. They estimate a two hour time span during which power will be out.

To prevent any possible damage to equipment from a sudden power surge, it would be wise to unplug electronics that are not protected by surge protectors and if your house is not equipped with a whole house protector, you may want to shut down your AC and pool pump. NOT THAT IT IS EXPECTED TO BE AN ISSUE. THIS IS MERELY A PREVENTATIVE SUGGESTION.
