The entrance gate failed this morning. It has been opened and the service company has been contacted. The soonest they can be here is the 31st, so as frustrating as it is, the gate will be open until they are able to diagnose and repair.
- HH Board of Directors
Good afternoon,
The board is frankly just as frustrated as any resident with the gate being broken once again. Let me assure everyone the board is NOT conducting patchy repairs to the gate; but are instead working as we always have, to understand and locate the source of this new technical issue. Unfortunately, we are also constrained by the contractor's scheduling ability, and while keeping the gate open for yet another underdetermined period isn't ideal; the president and the management company have already requested a next available date, now set for early next week. We ask, as we have always encouraged residents to be extra vigilant and report any suspicious activity that appears to be out of the ordinary.
Residents…
1/2 Thank you for posting and keeping us up to date on this gate issue. I understand you are asking us to be patient but this gate keeps braking down and I believe it needs to be solve by replacing it instead of doing patching repairs. This has become a security and safety issue to our community. Just 3 weeks ago during the time that the gate was open, there was a robbery on a house in Hidden Harbor Lane. There are all kinds of unwanted outside traffic in our community. Guys on motorcycles speeding, doing wheelies and driving inside the tennis court.
2/2 Sales people knocking on doors and even people from outside fishing in the pond. Also people doing drugs parked on the end of the road by the park and dumping trash by the nature or reserve area. This had become a big problem that is not only a safety problem but also one that will devaluate our community. Please lets find a true solution to this.
Thank you!
