As you are all probably aware, the gate is inoperable.
When the technician arrived on site he did power the system on and found gibberish on the tele entry screen. The exit gate was opening and closing on its own. He put meters on the tele entry board and found low voltage, checked the surge protection and the surge protection has been fried.
They unplugged the system for about 20 minutes before plugging it back in to see if troubleshooting would work, which it did not. The technician discovered the board took a strong surge -- enough to fry tit. The voltage coming in from the power is running high which leads us to believe wemay be getting constant surges from the power company.
This panel was the last thing we replaced, so it is very new. Our gate company has ordered a new replacement board and we hope it will be covered by warranty.
As soon as the new board comes in we can replace the inoperable one, and get us back up and running. We have no estimate on when that might be, but will post updates as we receive them.
